Linn County, Iowa

Linn County is a major county in East Central Iowa. It is home to Cedar Rapids, the second largest city in Iowa, the seat and the largest city in Linn County.
It is named after Lewis Linn, a senator from Missouri. Many areas were damaged by the flooding Cedar River in 2008.
It borders Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Delaware, Iowa, Johnson and Jones counties.
Main highways include I-380/IA-27, US-30, US-151, US-218, IA-1, IA-100 and IA-13.
